Terms.
1. Acceptance
By using Musclesmith, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
Musclesmith is a machine-first gym coach: it builds workouts from the machines in your gym, suggests weights, reps, and rest from what you log, and tracks your progress. Musclesmith is currently free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Eligibility
Musclesmith stores your data on your device; no account is required. You must be at least 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions) to use Musclesmith.
4. Not medical advice
Musclesmith provides general fitness information and computed training suggestions. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a physician, physical therapist, or qualified trainer. Consult a doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have injuries or health conditions. Weight training carries inherent risk — lift within your ability, use safe form, and stop if something hurts. You are responsible for your own training decisions; suggested weights are estimates computed from your own logs, not guarantees of safety or results.
5. Body previews
Physique previews are illustrative simulations, not promises of results. Real outcomes depend on training, nutrition, sleep, and genetics.
6. Acceptable use
Do not reverse-engineer the app or use Musclesmith for any unlawful purpose.
7. Your data
Your training log lives on your device; optional backups live on our servers under a code only you hold. Keep your backup code private — see the privacy policy.
8. Disclaimer of warranty
Musclesmith is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, 288 Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 288 Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including personal injury arising from your training decisions, or loss of data, arising from your use of Musclesmith.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
